We hope this edition will receive an enthusiastic response from readers in light of the overarching theme it addresses: the <\/span><b>secondary market for government securities<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As at <\/span><b>30 September 2022<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a total of <\/span><b>1,077 transactions<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> had been recorded on the secondary market, for a traded volume of <\/span><b>CFAF 2,096 billion<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. On the <\/span><b>primary government securities market<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, during the second and third quarters of 2022, amounts raised reached <\/span><b>CFAF 1,353.13 billion<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>CFAF 1,741.94 billion<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> respectively, bringing total issuance volume for 2022 to <\/span><b>CFAF 4,516.53 billion<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
