In <strong>2025<\/strong>, issuances carried out on this market enabled the mobilisation of <strong>CFAF 11,859 billion<\/strong>, bringing the total outstanding stock of <strong>government securities<\/strong> to <strong>CFAF 21,629 billion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">UMOA-Titres\u2019 presence at this event is intended in particular to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>strengthen the visibility of the <strong>WAMU government securities market<\/strong> among international investors;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>showcase the investment opportunities offered by <strong>government securities<\/strong> issued by Member States;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>share macroeconomic outlooks and recent developments in the <strong>regional market<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>deepen dialogue with international capital market participants.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In an international financial environment increasingly shaped by the search for diversification, the Union\u2019s sovereign securities also offer attractive yields which may exceed <strong>7%<\/strong>, depending on maturities, thereby presenting a compelling investment opportunity for <strong>institutional investors<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A Strategic Participation to Deepen Investor Dialogue<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">UMOA-Titres\u2019 participation in <strong>Global Banking &amp; Markets \u2013 Bonds, Loans &amp; ESG Africa<\/strong> reflects the institution\u2019s commitment to enhancing the international visibility of the <strong>WAMU sovereign market<\/strong> and strengthening relationships with international investors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To carry out this mission, <strong>Ms Patricia DJ\u00c9, Deputy Director of UMOA-Titres<\/strong>, will be accompanied by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>D\u00e9sir\u00e9 S\u00e8jro BOSSOU<\/strong>, Head of the Government Securities Operations and Promotion Department;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Hyppolite Gildas M\u00ead\u00e9ss\u00e8 DOSSOU-YOVO<\/strong>, Head of Institutional Communication;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Finagnon HOUNKPEVI<\/strong>, Sales.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The delegation will engage with capital market stakeholders on financing dynamics across the Union\u2019s economies, as well as on initiatives aimed at strengthening the depth, transparency and integration of the <strong>regional government securities market<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>One-to-One Meetings and Institutional Stand<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alongside the event\u2019s official sessions, <strong>UMOA-Titres<\/strong> will organise a series of <strong>one-to-one meetings<\/strong> with <strong>institutional investors<\/strong> and strategic partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These targeted discussions will provide an opportunity to deepen technical exchanges on the <strong>WAMU government securities market<\/strong>, explore specific investment opportunities and strengthen existing partnerships, while also paving the way for new collaborations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, the <strong>UMOA-Titres institutional stand<\/strong> will serve as a central point for information-sharing and discussion throughout the event.
