This edition, held under the theme <strong>\u201cFrom Youth to Wisdom: Mastering Finances at Every Stage of Life\u201d<\/strong>, provided a major opportunity for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.umoatitres.org\/fr\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.umoatitres.org\/fr\/\">UMOA-Titres<\/a> to present the <strong>government securities market<\/strong> as an accessible and secure investment and savings alternative, as well as the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cisi-umoa.org\/\">CISI-UMOA certification programme<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>This first participation took the form of an <strong>informational stand<\/strong> and an <strong>Expert Tips Masterclass<\/strong> on the theme:<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:heading {\"level\":3} -->\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u201cThe Government Securities Market: A Safe and Profitable Channel for Growing Your Savings\u201d<\/strong><\/h3>\n<!-- \/wp:heading -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>This masterclass, led by <strong>Mr D\u00e9sir\u00e9 S\u00e8jro BOSSOU<\/strong>, Head of Government Securities Operations and Promotion, and <strong>Ms Dior DIAW CISSE<\/strong>, Senior Sales, provided an opportunity to present and discuss the benefits of investing savings in <strong>government securities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>UMOA-Titres was also honoured to be represented by <strong>Ms Oulimata NDIAYE DIASSE, Director of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.umoatitres.org\/fr\/\">UMOA-Titres<\/a><\/strong>, during a plenary <strong>\u201cConversation With\u201d<\/strong> session on the theme:<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:heading {\"level\":3} -->\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u201cDiaspora, Savings, Investment and Financing: Which Solutions, and Using Which Tools?\u201d<\/strong><\/h3>\n<!-- \/wp:heading -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Participation in this fair enabled UMOA-Titres to engage with more than <strong>300 visitors<\/strong>, including <strong>students, employees, retirees, entrepreneurs, traders and public officials<\/strong>. Their interest in understanding what a <strong>government security<\/strong> is and their willingness to strengthen their financial literacy were at the heart of the discussions.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>This enriching experience at <strong>SEIP 2023<\/strong> reinforces the institution\u2019s commitment to continuing its mission of popularising <strong>government securities<\/strong> across the <strong>WAEMU region<\/strong> through <strong>financial education<\/strong>.
