Dakar, 14 April 2025 – UMOA-Titres, one of the key institutions driving the development of the regional financial market, is unveiling a new visual and strategic identity. This transformation marks a decisive step in its commitment to fostering a government securities market that is more accessible, transparent, innovative and dynamic.
At first glance, the initials “UT” stand out through a structured square form, clean lines and harmonised shades of blue.
A Rebranding Initiative to Address the Challenges of the Regional Financial Market
The WAEMU financial market is constantly evolving, requiring modern approaches and digital tools tailored to the needs of investors and issuing States.
“We wanted to modernise our identity so that it more clearly reflects our commitment to innovation, transparency and accessibility in the regional financial market. This change goes far beyond a simple visual refresh: it embodies our vision and our ambition for the years ahead.”
— Oulimata NDIAYE DIASSE, Director of UMOA-Titres
This rebranding forms part of UMOA-Titres’ 2025 roadmap, built around three strategic objectives:
- Strengthening visibility: delivering more engaging communication and enhancing the institution’s visibility among its stakeholders;
- Developing the Government Securities Market: mobilising investors and improving access to financing opportunities;
- Creating stronger engagement: deploying interactive platforms and educational content to deepen interaction with market participants.
A New Visual Identity and a Stronger Positioning
UMOA-Titres’ new logo, designed around a modular structure, conveys stability and clarity, positioning the institution within a forward-looking dynamic in which every visual element tells a story: that of a structured market, a momentum in motion, and a clear determination to support the transformation of the regional financial landscape.
The colour palette, dominated by three shades of blue, reflects reliability, solidity and innovation. The structure of the logotype emphasises transparency and rigour — essential values for ensuring a trusted investment environment.
This rebranding is built around four core pillars:
- A modernised identity: a new logo and redesigned visual guidelines reflecting a market in full transformation;
- “Building the Government Securities Market Together”: a new signature expressing UMOA-Titres’ ambition to help build a more efficient, more innovative and more inclusive financial ecosystem, while adapting to market developments;
- A stronger positioning: a clearer message and enhanced services to better support investors and Member States in their financing strategies;
- Greater digitalisation: interactive platforms and simplified access to market information and investment opportunities.
What Is Changing — and What Remains
UMOA-Titres remains fully committed to its central role in structuring and developing the WAEMU government securities market. Its commitment to efficient financing for States and to strengthening the market’s attractiveness remains unchanged.
At the same time, this transformation comes with several important developments:
- a strengthened digital strategy, with improved access to market data;
- expanded financial education services, notably through the CISI-UMOA certification and the Government Securities Market Web Academy;
- modernised services, with interactive tools designed to enhance the investor experience;
- more accessible and transparent communication, fostering a better understanding of the market.
The rollout of this new identity will take place progressively throughout 2025, through a number of major initiatives.
