AMF-WAMU

The Financial Markets Authority of the West African Monetary Union (AMF-WAMU) is an institution of the WAMU. It was established on July 3, 1996, by decision of the WAMU Council of Ministers as part of the creation of the Regional Financial Market, which it supervises.

The Authority is entrusted with the general mission of protecting investments made in securities and any other financial instruments offered through public offerings across all member states of the Union.

Its headquarters are located in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.
